Our first ever wedding was definitely one for the books. Zach & Sydney are truly a lovely couple and were an absolute joy to work with.
When Zach & Sydney and their family came to tour the venue for a possible wedding, it was February of 2021. We were in the throes of renovations, and our crown jewel room, The Knot, was still packed to the ceiling with hay. You could not even see into the space where the ceremony would be held.
Zach & Sydney could see what we were explaining it would look like, and had faith in us to make sure everything was completed on time. We were absolutely ecstatic when they decided to book us for their September wedding, and we put in all sorts of work to make sure everything was completed and up to standards.
They were able to come by and view the progress. They were able to see The Knot empty for the first time. They were able to see it before we replace the floor. They watched us develop a full kitchen, the bathroom, the bridal prep room, and the upstairs serving station. They were able to come see it strung with lights for the first time. They were beside us for our entire renovation journey and just as happy with the progress as we were. When their big day came on September 25th, we not only prepared, but we were incredibly excited to be taking part in the special day of this young couple that had so much faith in us. The weather was beautiful and the doors were able to be opened to give off the full beauty of our space. Outdoor pictures were able to be taken, and Zach & Sydney were able to share a private last dance in our lighted corn crib.
Thank you, Zach + Sydney, for choosing us for your special day! We here at Needle in the Haystack wish you a lifetime of happiness and love.
