Needle in the Haystack offers several venue options/packages that you can choose from in order to tailor it to your needs. There is a sound system throughout the total venue to include 2 wireless microphones and two restrooms available on each floor. A holding kitchen is also available on our first floor. Rental options currently offered are below.

DOWNSTAIRS OPTIONS:

THE MORTON ROOM

The Morton room is a large space with seating to accommodate 80 people, using 10 8' tables with 8/table in a banquet style and/or angled style comfortably. A buffet-style serving table runs down the center, allowing guests to obtain food through a buffet line on both sides which affords everyone the ability to get their meal in a timely fashion. This area is 50' long & 31' wide. If you wanted to remove the middle buffet style serving tables; you could seat an additional 32. Another feature that makes this room unique is the beautiful block windows that were installed when the new barn was built by Jack & Mary Jane Morton in 1968. This room has air conditioning and is heated, no fans or heaters. There is also a wall mounted Smart TV for use for presentations and slideshows. 

THE STONE WALL ROOM

The Stone Wall room is a large space with concrete floors and a beautiful railway beam running through the ceiling. One wall is completely lined with the original stonework done when the barn was built in 1923. This room can accommodate many, depending on the style of seating the client has in mind. This area is 72' long & 42' wide. You can seat 136 using 17 8' tables with 8/table in banquet style. This room has air conditioning and is heated, no fans or heaters. There is also a wall mounted Smart TV for use for presentations and slideshows. 

UPSTAIRS OPTIONS:

THE SHINDIG ROOM

A hay barn originally built in 1923, this barn has been completely stabilized and has all new flooring and support beams. A staircase in the corner allows you to easily access the downstairs area and the kitchen. There is adequate space for this room to be used for a school dance, a wedding, wedding reception, auction, fundraiser, or any other large event or corporate retreat. This room would be heated and cooled with large ceiling fans and propane heaters. This area is 72' Iong & 42' wide. There are 4 separate sections divided by posts. We currently have 20 round plastic tables that are 5' in diameter that a recommended for this room and included in your rental price. The southeast corner is set up for a photo booth and the southwest corner is set up to accommodate a DJ. There is a serving station & large cooler to the south of this room. 

THE KNOT

This includes use of The Knot, The Shindig, The Stone Wall, and The Morton Room.

This choice would be perfect for a wedding ceremony or vow renewal. The Knot has beautiful highly arched ceilings with fans and heaters to make the spaces comfortable. This area is 50' long & 31' wide. The wooden roof arches are lined with lights. A beautiful collection of pews completes this space, providing adequate seating for 150 people comfortably, with the possibility to add chairs to accommodate more. It also has a pull-down screen and a mounted projector for presentations and slideshows. This venue package also includes full access to all the rooms listed above, and their amenities offered. Rental is for 48 hours -for example, Friday at 10:00 A.M. until Sunday at 10:00 A.M. for a Saturday wedding. Client must remove all personal items within 8 hours of end time listed on the event.
